Strawberry/Banana Porridge Bowl

Start your winter mornings with a bowl of deliciously creamy banana porridge. An easy vegetarian breakfast the whole family will love. 

These creamy oats make a wonderfully healthy breakfast that tastes sinfully delicious. 


I've always loved the combination of banana and oats but I find my Banana rolled oats are more suited for quiet weekend mornings when you can afford to spend longer in the kitchen. 



You want to start by adding 1 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1/2 cup of water, a smashed banana and chia seeds to the sauce pan. Turn the stove to medium low heat and start mixing ingredients together. Make sure to keep stirring till everything is well blended. 

As soon as everything is well mixed, turn heat up a bit, let is sit for a few minutes or till boil.

When it starts to boil, bring heat down and add 1 tbsp of honey or maple syrup if desired and mix in.

It's easy, simple but most importantly healthy! Enjoy!



1. Start by adding around a cup of strawberries to the sauce pan. Then turn on the heat to medium low. Let the strawberries sit for about 5 min. After 5 min start smashing the strawberries.

2. After strawberries are smash, add 1 cup of rolled oats, a smashed banana, 1 tbsp if chia seeds, 1/2 cup of almond milk, 1/2 cup of water. Mix everything together and let it sit for about 10 min or till boil.


3. After 10 min, add your choice of sweetener like honey or maple syrup. Then mix it together.

4. Grab any size bowl and our it in. Top it off with your choice of toppings.
