Spicy Creamy Tomato Pasta
Mango Smoothie bowl - this smoothie is simple, delicious, and only a few ingredients!

INGREDIENTS

12-Ounces Whole Wheat Linguine

1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
-
1/2 Cup Onion Diced
-
8 Ounces Mushrooms, Sliced
-
3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
-
2 Cups Cherry Tomatoes
-
Homemade Tomato Sauce
-
1 Cup Plain Green Yogurt
-
3/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
-
1/2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
-
1/4 Cup Basil Leaves, Chopped
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cook pasta according to directions.

2. Meanwhile, in a sauce pan, melt butter over over medium high heat. Add in onion and mushrooms and saute for 2 minutes. Add in garlic and tomatoes cook for about 5 minutes until onions, mushrooms and garlic are tender, stirring regularly.
​
3. Stir in tomato sauce Greek yogurt, parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes and basil leaves
​
4. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and the greek yogurt and mix well, until all is combined.
​
5. Plate your pasta and garnish it with parmesan cheese, basil and extra red pepper flakes.


NOTES

Using can tomato sauce will work as well for this recipe.

Add more pepper flakes to the recipe if desired.

You can substitute yogurt for sour cream and unsalted butter for regular butter.
